The Mindray PM-60 Pulse Oximeter uses 3-level visual and audible alarms. It is possible to adjust the screen brightness, to save battery power. The device has an automatic standby mode and auto-shutdown mode can be selected. The device works on lithium ion or AA alkaline batteries, which are not included.

When the device is set in continuous mode, it can store up to 96 hours of data for a single patient. With the spot-check mode, the device can capture 4000 sets of data from a maximum of 99 different patients. The data can be transferred to a computer using infrared technology.

The Mindray PM-60 Pulse Oximeter comes with a finger sensor and protective cover.
